Adelle Stover

Adelle Stover 67, of Southern Pines, NC  departed her life on August 4, 2024. Adelle was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 17th, 1957 at Martland Hospital Adelle worked for New Jersey Department of Corrections 10 years and worked as an alcohol and substance-abuse counselor in the City of Newark. In 2003 Adelle moved to Conway, South Carolina where she her husband Ronnie Stover the pair married in February of 2006. The couple moved from the Horry County area to Southern Pines, North Carolina where they remained until Adelle’s departure. 

Adelle is predeceased by her parents Mimi Cook and Willie Wynn, her sister Sylvia Moore, and her grandson Dawon Barrow. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Ronnie Stover (67) of Southern Pines, NC; her daughter Lakeshia Gamble (51) of Burlington,NC; sisters Iris Sims (Mohammed) and Charlotte Wynn. Brothers; Angelo Cook, Michael Cook, Henry Sims, Michael Wynn, and Jerome Turner. Grandchildren; Dhafir Gill-Smith (32), To’Nea Gill (30), Nasrah Gill (28), Lashona Gill (27). Daughter in Law of Mrs. Mary Stover Green of 1522 6th Avenue Conway SC Great-Grandchildren Miles Gill-Smith(14), Mason Gerald(13), Shaniya Adgerson(12), Peyton Wideman(8), Greyson Barrow(7), Emory Gerald(4), Nasia Bellamy(3), Samara Bellamy(8 months). Her three sister-in-law‘s and two brother-in-law‘s, nieces and nephews, and bonus children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday Aug. 15, 2024 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2PM.
