Angela Michelle Dukes

Mrs. Angela Michelle Dukes, beloved daughter of Martha Collins and late Finley Collins of New York. Michelle was born to Maxine Vereen and Kenneth Grissett, on February 11, 1970, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

She was called home on April 19, 2023 to take her eternal rest.

“Michelle” as she was called, was educated in the Mabel Dean Bacon in Manhattan New York. Also graduated from Benedict College, Columbia, SC  and Paul Quinn College, Texas

She grew up in New York City, and later she moved to Myrtle Beach and attend Sandy Grove Baptist Church at a young age.

Michelle was employed at T-Tech for several years before her illness. She was very talented and had several different skills.

Michelle leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband Ted Dukes, son Tyric Dukes of  Richmond, Virginia. Lauderdale, Fl , Eric Grissett (Yolanda) Charlotte, NC, Alfonso Grissett (Lamita) Stone Mt, Ga, Christal Vereen, Myrtle Beach, SC, Lamar Vereen, Myrtle Beach, SC, and the late Reketa Vereen and Lisa Grissett and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.

Viewing Friday 4/28/23 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2-6PM

The Funeral will be held Saturday 4/29/23 Sandy Grove MBC 11AM.

Burial will follow in the Pine island Cemetery.
