Angela Roberts

Mrs Roberts was the daughter of Mrs. Lee A. Evans. 

“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.”

Angela Renee Roberts was born November 12th, 1968 in Trenton, New Jersey to Otis Ray Roberts (deceased)  and Lee Ann Evans.

She was educated at Villa Victoria Academy and received her Bachelor's Degree at Seton Hall University. After working for the Trenton, NJ School District for 8 years, she moved to Frederick Maryland where she worked for a staffing agency. Then, in 2006 she moved to Little River, South Carolina where she worked with Avista Properties for 17 years.

In her youth Angela was very athletic, participating in soccer, basketball, and softball. She was adventurous, curious and always on the move. She never met a stranger and she was fierce about those she loved. She was loved by everyone for her radiating smile, joyful personality and caring soul.

She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Ray Roberts and grandparents, Jake and Idella Evans, and Oran and Sarah Roberts.

She may not be with us in person, but her spirit lives on by her mother, Lee Ann Evans, daughter Laniya Smith, Laniya’s father, Leonard Smith, siblings Tammy Moye (Sterles), Timothy Smith, Nicole Roberts, Karim Roberts (Ashley), Sarah Roberts, and Joshua Roberts; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins.

Angela was a shining star that burned out too soon

The Funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 4PM at Mt. Zion AME Church Mt. Zion Road Little River, Sc.
