Ann Mercer

Ann sue Mercer,age 86,went home to glory, August 23 ,2021. She was born may 5th, 1935 in Marion county, south Carolina to Joe and lessie Moses. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alexander Mercer,aka "Nicky".  Of over 25 years, whom she met when she left her little town of Conway SC over 60 years ago to move to NYC. For over 25 years, she was a faithful employee to the levitan  manufacturing company, NYC. In addition to her faithful employment , she was a faithful church member of unity Baptist Church, which she sang happily on the adult choir. After raising her kids in the big apple, she felt  it was time to move back to the south to help ma take care of  her elderly Mom.   While back home, she reconnected back with her childhood church, brown chapel a.m.e, which of course , she sang  in the adult choir, and was a member of the missionary society. She also enjoyed  planting her flowers in her yard, and sitting on her front porch with her siblings. She leaves behind numerous nieces  and nephews, 2 living brothers, George Moses, and Wendell ( kaybertha ,wife) Moses and 3 loving  children, Ronnie Moses and his wife Terri, Timmy Mercer and his wife jo N Mercer, and a daughter, Rosemarie d Mercer. 5 grandkids,  Tamara, tiara , Ronnie Jr, simeon ,and Jonathan. And 2 great grand daughters, Nevaeh, mahlani.The Funeral will be held at Friday Aug. 27, 2021 11AM at  Marlow Branch Cemetery on Old Mill Drive off Hwy 701 in The Bucksville Community of Conway, SC.
