The Viewing for Mrs. Davis will be held Wed. Feb. 15, 2023 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2-6PM.

The Funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023 at Chesterfield MBC 2PM.

Life Reflections BERTHA MAE DAVIS

Bertha Mae Davis was born on February 24, 1926. She was the daughter of the late John and Mag Bellamy. Bertha was a native of Little River Neck, S.C. She attended Poplar Training School. Bertha at an early age accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour and was a member of Macedonia AME Church. She served in many capacities at the church until her health failed.  She was a member of the International Free and Accepted Modern Mason, Inc and Order of the Eastern Stars, New Hope Chapter #079, Illustrious Kenneth L Hollowell, 33*- Supreme President/CEO. She was a foxy lady who was very stylish.

Bertha is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Meland Davis Jr.; a son, James Franklin Bellamy; her siblings,  Arlena Bryant, Ella Wortham, Lucille Bellamy, Lewis Bellamy, Archie Bellamy, Freddie Lee Bellamy, and Charlie Wortham.

 On Thursday, February 9, 2023, Bertha gain her wings to her eternal home and leave cherish memories to Annie Bellamy, her daughter-in-law; three grandchildren, James Bellamy (Christine), Rodney Bellamy (Joe Ann), Frankie Bellamy (Spiro); a bonus granddaughter, Sevial Goings; a very special niece and caregiver, Easter Mae Morgan (Jessie); two godchildren, Joyce Williams and Portia Maine (David); sixteen great grandchildren and a host of other special nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
