Bobbie Jean Fairwell

Bobbie Jean Fairwell was born to P.C. Edge & Susie Jarrett in Conway, SC on May 10, 1936 and as an infant she was raised, adopted and embraced by Rufus Jarrett & the Jarrett family along with her mother Susie.

Bobbie united in marriage to sergeant Everett "Sonny boy" Fairwell. Bobbie and Sonny boy's early romance allowed them to see and travel the world while growing their young family.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years,

Everett M. Fairwell, daughters, Cynthia Prudhomme-Fairwell, Cheryl Stoney and Barbara Fairwell; son Everett Fairwell; brothers William Jarrett, SR.; Herman Jarrett; sisters Beatrice McAllister, Elizabeth Baker and Shirley Baker.

Bobbie was called "Momma" by many relatives and friends and was remembered by feeding the kids in the neighborhood. She loved spending her free time playing Bingo at the military base.

She leaves a legacy of love and memories two daughters, Priscilla Fairwell and Tamika Fairwell; daughter in-law Tamara Fairwell, grandchildren, Shanel Ford, Lakkia Stoney, Shayla Gilmore, Kayla Stoney-Cobb, Tia Braswell (Joshua), Trinese Green, Tavion Spencer, Tamyia Green, Tatiana Fairwell and Takiya Fairwell; great grandchildren, Keanna Fairwell, Raekwon (Ke'Andre) Fairwell Guiller, Amaya Costen, Jayla Benson, Darien Jiles, Darion Currington, Zanyiah Braswell and Laila Gilmore; great-great grandchildren, Jaiden Fairwell, brother, Willie Melvin (Fayetteville, NC), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
