Mrs. Carrie Lee Hudson, daughter of the late Reverend Charlie Bellamy and Mrs. Rosa Bellamy Riggins (Rev. Sylvester V. Riggins, stepfather) was born on March 18, 1938, in Tabor City, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Monday, November 15, 2021 at McLeod Seacoast, Little River, South Carolina after an extended illness.
She attended public schools in Horry County. At an early age she accepted Christ and joined Union Baptist Missionary Baptist Church.

A total of eight siblings preceded her in death: Alfred, Bellamy, Edward Bellamy, Charlie Bellamy, Wilbert Bellamy, Edmond Riggins, Samuel Riggins, Earlene Bessant, and Julene Gause.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, four children: Vertis “Pete” Bellamy, Carrie Bellamy Wilson, James “Moot” Hudson, and Arthur Hudson. Four grandchildren: Mary B. Howard, Virtus Bellamy, Jennifer Bellamy, and James “Jay” Hudson, Jr, 2 great grandchildren: Jamira Bellamy and Deydric Bellamy, and two sister-in-law, Carrie Neil Riggins of Little River, SC andTerri Bellamy of Fayetteville, NC.
Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Her Smile
Though her smile is gone forever and her hand we cannot touch. We still have so many memories of the one we loved so much. Her memory is now our keepsake. Which with we’ll never part. God has her in his keeping. We have her in our hearts. Sadly missed but never forgotten.
