Clara Helen May, 92, of Yonkers, New York passed away on February 06, 2024.
Clara was born on February 27, 1931 in Yonkers, New York to William Howard Randolph and Clara Inez Randolph.
For those who were blessed to know Clara, witnessed her intelligence, drive, fierce wit, sense of humor, and generosity.
She was a Dietician at a local hospital and various schools in Yonkers, New York. Clara moved on to become the lead supervising Dietician of the Brooklyn, New York school district where she remained for several decades before retiring in 1996. During this time, Clara pursued her passion for traveling. She enjoyed multiple trips to Egypt, Alaska, Nova Scotia, and every Caribbean Island and beyond ~ building lasting friendships along the way. Another passion was cooking. She shared her amazing culinary skills with family and friends and it remains a topic of conversation to this day.
Clara was preceded by the death of her parents, William H. Randolph and Clara I. Randolph, brother, Howard Randolph, Sister, Willa Randolph, cousin, Raymond Manigault, nephew, Vernon Howard Randolph, and last but not least, her grand-daughter, Stephanie May.
She is survived by her daughter, Wilda Smith; grandson – Jonathan May; nieces, Susan Frederick, Wanda Randolph, Toni Randolph, and Jane Randolph; nephew: Vincent Randolph and their off-spring and beyond.
