Mr. Brokenbrough was the Son of Mrs. Ametria Griffin of Conway, SC.
Davon Tyree Brockenbrough also known as "Flame" to the world but "DayDay" to his loved ones was the son of Ametria Griffin and David Brockenbrough Sr. He was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on March 28th, 1994, and departed from his earthly home on January 22nd, 2023.
He grew up in Conway, South Carolina, and attended Conway High School. DayDay later resided in Columbia, South Carolina where he worked in the restaurant business and was building his brand as a social media digital creator. One of his most rememberable quotes and his outlook on life was, "If you woke up this morning? you still winning!" DayDay loved music, anime, working out, gaming, and most of all helping other people out.
Proceeding DayDay in death are his grandparents, Joseph” Skebo” Brantley Sr, Joan F. Brantley, and Beatrice Aberta Peoples. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his parents Ametria (George) Griffin of Conway, SC, and David (Tanita Moore) Brockenbrough of Philadelphia, PA; His two sisters Cc'Ora McCollum and Markia McLeod of Conway, SC; Two brothers Xavier McCollum of Florence, SC and David "Tez” Brockenbrough Jr of Conway, SC; A special bonus brother Deandrick Graham of Loris, SC; His nieces Krista Robinson and Kailyn Robinson; His nephew Kasen Robinson; His girlfriend Tecia Jenkins and her daughter Tatiana, her Mother Lucinda (Fitz) Anderson of Columbia, SC; His special friends, Devin Powell, Nakinyah Tucker, James Russell, and Tyler Graham. Also, his special cousins, Blair Fleming Jr, Patrick Wilson, and Bryant Gamble. A host of Aunts, Uncles, other Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family, and Friends.
The Viewing will be held Saturday Jan. 28, 2023 4-7PM at Latimer's Funeral Home.
The Funeral will be held at Mason Temple COGIC Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023 3PM. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
