Doris was born on April 13, 1949 to the late Rufus Vereen Sr. and Estelle Robinson Vereen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Bellamy Sr., and daughter Denise Bellamy.
Doris received her education in the Horry County School system. She was employed by Pinedale Nursing home for an extended period of time. Accepting God at an early age, Doris Ann was baptized at Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the leader of the Usher Ministry as a young adult.
Doris Ann Vereen Bellamy is survived by her three sons, Boddy Bellamy (New York), Benjamin ( Yvette) Bellamy Jr., and Cornelius (Tiffany) Bellamy, also gaining a bonus daughter Shamika Graves , with a host of grandchildren and great grands. Also left to cherish her memory, her brothers and sisters, Frederick Vereen, Barbara (James) Greene, Sarah Vereen, Wilbert Vereen, Philip Vereen , Cathy ( Herbert) Brown , Estelle J. Vereen and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends
The Viewing will be held Wed. Oct. 2, 2024 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2-6PM. The Funeral will be held Thursday Oct. 3, 2024 at Cherryhill MBC 11AM. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery.
