Obituary

Bro Elijah Moore entered into eternal rest on Wednesday November 18, 2021 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital.  He was born on September 27, 1958 the son of the late Elias Moore and Mattie Moore. He received his education in Georgetown public school. He was employed in Hampton Virginia for several years.
Brother Moore was a member of Trinity AME Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elias Moore and Mattie Moore,

One sister proceeded him in death, Mary Magaline Vernon

He is survived by his wife Ella Mae Moore

He leaves to cherish sweet and lasting memories his children: Allen Burroughs, Quashauda Burroughs, Davein Burroughs, Olivia Moss, Lucas Chestnut, Tory Chestnut, Latoya Harris, Dakota Harris Grandchildren: Nasir Sellers, Tatiana Crisco, Quindon Burroughs, Damaris Pyatt, Patrick Dewitt, Aniya Dewitt, Alexiuous Dewitt, De’alo J Burroughs, Nilayah Burroughs Great Grandchildren: Chozyn Pyatt, Niyomi Dewitt

Love ones who will cherish his memories are his brothers and sisters, Verdell (Leroy) Steel, Ruthamae (Gene) Sherman, Larry (Mary) Moore, Frank (Cynthia) Moore, Micheal (Doris) Moore, Joeana (Eugene) Lesane, Windell (Juliana) Moore, and Kenneth Moore all of Hemingway, SC; Luther (Peggie) Moore of Bucksport, SC; Mary Alice (Floyd) Brown of Winston Salem, NC, Randy Moore of Myrtle Beach, SC;

He will be truly missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elijah will be missed by many but  never forgotten

Viewing will be held at Latimer's Funeral Home Wed. Nov. 24, 2021 1-3PM

Please do not attend or view if you are feeling unwell, or under quarantine. No hand shaking please for safety. Mask and hand sanitizer will be provided at the viewing and Funeral Service by the funeral home. If you are attending graveside Funeral please bring lawn chair due to limited seating and water. The family is not receiving friends at the home due to COVID .The family appreciates your understanding during these uncertain times.
