Eternal rest was bestowed upon our dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend ERNEST DONELL HICKMAN on November 28, 2022, at Premier Living & Rehab Center in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina.
Ernest Donell Hickman the son of late Gertie Bell Hickman Burnett (Leonard) and the late Willie J Keel and a bonus mother the late Ms. Hattie Mae Gore was born on February 13, 1955. Ernest later graduated from West Columbus High School soon after he was employed at Georgia Pacific.
He was proceeded in death by one sister Sandy (Greg) Bellamy, four brothers William Keel, Joseph Keel, Robert (Sharon) Hickman and Andre Hickman, two special aunts Vera (Willie) Jackson and Margaret Chestnut.
Ernest leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters Tonya Everette Hills of High Point, NC and Sonya Everette of Jamestown NC and three heartfelt daughters the late LaKisha Everette, Felicia (Ryan) Featherson of Greensboro, NC and Raven Jones of Chadbourn, NC. Nine sisters, Sylvia M. Morris, of Little River, SC, Eva E. McMillian and Wanda Keel of Longs, SC, Kendra J. Keel of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lendra J. (Warren) Keel of Hollywood, FL. Juanita T. Keel of Homestead, FL. Tina (Charles) Parker, Tracey Marie Grays and Deirdra Lee Wells: three brothers, Lynn (Jo) Burnett, Andy K. (Stephanie) Keel of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Martin L. (Katina) Keel. One aunt Nancy P. (Issac) Kelly of West Haven, CT. Four grandchildren, Shameka Everette, Alexandria Everette, Madison Everette and Cameron English. Two great-grandchildren Kace and Kaleb Quick. A special cousin Laura Frances Keith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Viewing will be held Monday Dec. 5, 2022 at Latimer's Funeral Home 5:30PM to 6:30PM.
