Ernest Leroy Spain was born on February 26, 1963, to the late

Vivian S. Woodbury and Ernest Joe Spain, he departed this life August 15th, 2023, after an extended illness. Ernest grew up in North Myrtle Beach and Conway areas. Ernest attended the Horry County School system. He attended Whittemore High School and received his diploma from Job Corp after leaving high school. He worked various jobs from time to time until his health prevented him from working.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Vivian S Woodbury, Ernest Joe Spain and stepfather Cleo Woodbury Sr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory one child, Monique Alston, three sisters, Audrey Spain (Timmy Allen), Vendia Spain, Patrelle Woodbury (Donald Simmons) three brothers, Lynwood Spain, Willie Woodbury(Seemone), Cleo Woodbury Jr, stepbrother Kenny Woodbury, stepsister Sarah Woodbury, two grandchildren Shaquail Gagum and Zayquail Legette, one bonus sister Mary Ann Calloway, one bonus brother Anthony Parson, a very special friend Linda Swinton, seven aunts, six uncles and a host of nieces and nephews.
