Eugene Woodberry was born on July 20, 1955 in Conway, South Carolina to the late Willie and Francis Woodberry. He departed this earthly life on Monday, November 8, 2021 peacefully at home.
Eugene He attended the Horry County public schools in Conway, South Carolina.
He joined the Friendship Baptist Church at an early age. Were he worshipped and service as a greeter until his illness.
Eugene worked for Thomas Alford Dealership for many years as a car detailer and Turner’s Auto parts as parts stocker.
Gene/Genie boy/Rabbit as he was called by his loved ones, was always there to support his family through good and bad times. He always made people feel welcomed with his warm smile and great sense of humor. He never met a stranger and never held a grudge against anyone. He was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.
He preceded brother in death his brother: Clemon J. Woodberry. He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories – his three brothers: Willie J. Woodberry Jr. (Debbie) of New York City, Charles Woodberry, Cleveland Woodberry (Freda) both of Conway, SC. Three sisters Flossie Mae Williamson of Marion, SC, Donna Billingsley (John) of Montgomery, AL and JoAnn Steele (Bennie) of Conway, SC. One special niece Latosha Woodberry Ramsey of Conway, SC. One aunt Elizabeth Graham of Conway, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
