Gladys Doctor

Ms. Gladys Doctor was born in 1932 to the late Ned and Mary Green.  She met and married Mr. Alford Doctor in 1949, he proceeded her in death.  She attended the Horry

County Schools and loved reading.  At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord Saviour, and she loved to talk about the goodness of the Lord. She attended Oak

Grove and later attended Revelations Missionary Baptist.  She worked and retired from Holiday Inn at the Pottery, while there she made the best biscuits you would ever

put in your mouth along with many other tasty foods, she enjoyed cooking.  She loved to ride and go visit friends and family, we always tried to get her out when we could. 

She also loved her KFC, sometimes she was brought KFC by at least 3 people in one day.  She loved the outdoors and sitting under the car port and enjoying the breeze.

Ms. Gladys leaves to cherish in precious memories one son James(Mary) Harriott of Conway SC, two daughters, Mary(George) Parmley of Conway, SC and Ms. Kimberly

Greene of Columbia, SC.  Sons, Althen Doctor and Frank Doctor who both proceeded her in death.  11 Grands, Michele(Lorenzo) Singleton, Tonya Harriot, Jamie Harriot (proceeded in death), Paige (Julius) Green, Caren(Nathaniel)(Dennis.

Kenya(Camille) Parmley all of Conway, SC. Sharlen Parmley of Spartanburg, SC, Anthony Greene of Raleigh, NC,  Teraine Brown of Columbia, SC, Brian Doctor of Norfolk, VA

and Kiara(Andre) Ary of Columbia, SC.   also 20 Great Grands, 11 Great Great Grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 1 pm at the Oak Grove Baptist Church.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Latimer's Funeral home from 2pm to 6 pm
