James Blake Obituary

James Ernest Blake, born Sept. 28, 1930 to James Leto Blake and Shula Lemons in Candor, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother; Roy Blake, Arthur Blake, sisters Hilda Blake and Mildred Blake.

His youngest sister, Barbara Ann is still living.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Mae Blake and daughters Terrydale Blake and Jamie Shirl Blake.

He is survived by his 8 children ; James Jonothon Blake, Jane, Elizabeth Blake, Lisa Blake, Barry Blake, Billie Jo Blake, Adam and David Blake.

Mr. Blake was also a Korean War Veteran serving his country in The US ARMY.

He was a loving father and husband and he loved the Lord. WE love you Dad and you will be forever in our hearts.
