Jerry L. Smith, Jr.

Jerry Lendell Smith, Jr. of Conway, SC passed away peacefully at his home on August 31, 2022. Jerry was born November 10, 1966 to Jerry L. Smith, Sr. and the late Rosetta Scott Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Nelson Smith, and son, Jerry Smith. When Jerry was younger, he found God at an early age. He graduated from Conway High School. He worked as a truck driver for an extended period, and then he proceeded to Waste Industries for over 9 years. Jerry Lendell Smith, Jr. is survived by his two sons, Jerry Smith III, Cornelius Smith; three daughters: Whitney Smith, Amber Smith and Jermila Smith; two son he raised Christopher and Zachary; father, Jerry L. Smith, Sr; grandchildren: Jaina, Rylan, TJ, Tyonna, Alaina, Layla, Charles, A’miya, Lilly, and Trenton; siblings: Tyrone Smith (Debbie), Carolyn Smith, Wanda Carter (Warren), Arietta Smith, all of Conway, SC, Larissa Phillips (Sofonias), Columbia SC, and Aves (Lisa) Smith, Columbia, SC; a special niece, Tara Jean Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends

The Viewing will be held Saturday Sept. 3, 2022 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2:30-6PM

The Funeral will be held at Rosehill Cemetery 2pm Sunday, Sept 4, 2022.
