Jocelyn Denise Cheatham

Jocelyn Denise Cheatham, a resident of Conway, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 11, 2025 at the age of 66. 

Born Jocelyn Denise McKinney on September 26, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the youngest of three children born to Carl and Dorothy McKinney. Jocelyn relocated to Conway, South Carolina in 2021, where she lived until her untimely passing. She will be long remembered for her creativity, high energy, cleverness, and showmanship.

She is survived by her three children: Launa, Edward III and Marcus; Six grandchildren: Claudia, Edward IV, Sydneii, Kyla, Mason and Madison; Two Brothers: Carl David McKinney Jr. and Gilbert McKinney Sr.; several sisters in law, a host of nieces and nephews, Goddaughter Carla McKinney, wonderful friends, and Chosen Sister, Claudette Bushrod.
