Johnny M. Bellamy

Johnny M. Bellamy, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his residence.

     He was born December 7, 1941 to the late Golden Bellamy and Ada Scott-Bellamy.  He was a proud and active member of the graduating Class of 1961 of The  Whittemore High School "Fighting Bulldogs."

     After residing in Jersey City, New Jersey for a number of years before returning  to his beloved hometown .  He then joined the Canal Industries and May Company Teams with the leadership of the late Mr. E.C. Wall, Sr., Mr. E.C. Wall Jr., and Mazie Wall, Sr.

     Johnny is survived by his wiife, Edna Earl Canty, children: Tracy and Rodney: and two granddaughters: Sequoia and Nia.

     Viewing will be held Sunday December 13, 2020 from 2:30-6 P.M.  Graveside services will be held Monday December 14, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  Burial will follow.
