Johnny Williams

Johnny Lee Williams son of the late Mr John Henry Williams and Bessie Hill Williams was born February 14 1949 in Conway SC.  To most he was known as "Grandpa" to some he was known as "Pappy". On Tuesday June 7 2022 God saw fit to call him home.  
Johnny attended the Horry County Schools and was employed at an early age for many years in the Logging industry where he later retired. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. 
Johnny was proceded in death by his two sisters Johnnie Ruth Burroughs and Sarah Rush one brother Charles Williams
Johnny leaves to cherish his children Angela Grissett, Heather Grissett of Conway SC,  Lajada Sherman, Johnny Lee Williams jr and Kristerpher Williams of the Bucksport Community;  5 grandsons,  SPC Grissett Ahsien, Jabreiveon,  Tygee, Raymond and Kamorion of Conway SC Three brothers Bobby Hill of Jacksonville Florida, James David(Cheria) Williams of Conway South Carolina and Joe Earl(Cheryl) Williams of Aynor South Carolina; Three sisters,  Deloris Ann Bryant of Conway SC, Cynthia Ann Williams of Conway SC and Gussie Mae Isom of Myrtle Beach SC one sister-in-law, Vangeline Williams  Thank you to a close cousin Reggie Hill a host of nephews, nieces relatives and friends. 
You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knew why.
A million times we needed you,
A million times we cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill

The Memorial service for Mr. Williams will be held at Latimer's Funeral Home
