Kenneth Leroy Wilson
January 27, 1963 – January 14, 2021
Kenneth Leroy Wilson was born on January 27, 1963 to the late Sammie “Bubba” and Bertha Mae Hannibal Wilson in Conway, SC. Kenneth who was affectionally known as Kenny was the Wilson’s only son. Surrounded by all sisters Kenny was calm in the storm. Upon the death of their parents Kenny took the reigns as the Patriarch of the Wilson family.
Kenny attended Horry County Public Schools, and graduated from Conway High School in 1981. Upon graduating Kenny became employed with Coca Cola where he remained for 20 years. Kenny would later find his niche in laying concrete and was employed with Smyrna Concrete until his untimely departure from this life to reward.
Kenny married the former Renata Hunt in 1985 and from that union one child was born Kenneth Alex Wilson, which precedes him in death. Kenny later married Deborah Conner Wilson who is also left to cherish his memory.
Kenny enjoyed cooking grilling and baking, He was known for . Kenny will be missed by all who knew him for his infectious laugh.
Kenny was a loving father to his only surviving son Kendrick Bethea, a doting dad to his princess Shanique Wilson and loving companion Vanessa Codrington. The loss of Kenny will leave a void in our hearts forever, however the family cherishes the moments that made him special us.
Kenny has joined the loved ones that have preceded him in death, his parents Sammie and Bertha Wilson, his sister Bertha Lee Wilson and his beloved eldest son Kenneth Alex Wilson. Kenny is survived by his is companion Vanessa Codrington, one son Kendrick Bethea his daughter Shanique Wilson, and one grand-daughter Kendra Bethea, 8 Sisters Rosa Lee Wells, Doris Sessions, Deloris Bowens (Charles), Juanita Scott (Alfred) Gloria Spain (Roy), Pauline Williams, Elouise White (Stafford), Linda Melvin, 2 cousins raised together like brothers John Hannibal (Star) and Emanuel Hannibal (Yvette) of nieces, nephews and friends.
Public Viewing will be held at Latimer's Funeral Home March 20, 2021 2-6PM . The Graveside services will take place on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2pm at Rose Hill Cemetery.
