Kourtney Breannah Ballen-Wade

Early in the flush of morning on December 22, 2022 Jesus called his sweet angel home to eternal glory.
Ms. Kourtney Breannah Ballen-Wade was born on July 7, 1991 to Kolton Ballen Wade and Kirkland A. Wade in New Haven, Ct. Kourtney excelled in everything she did and performed exceptionally well in school. She attended Coastal Carolina University and made her family proud when she received her Bachelor's degree in Communications. As a member of Bethel AME Church, Kourtney had a passion for singing in the choir, serving as an acolyte, being a YPDer, performing on the praise dance team, as well as being a part of the Young Adult Ministries. Kourtney enjoyed many things, but she had a special love for the fine arts. 
She truly loved supporting her younger brother Kollin during his wrestling years, as well as attending functions for her nephew Asher and niece Emery.
Kourtney always surrounded herself with family and friends where she was most comfortable and loved.
She is survived by her Mother/Caregiver, Kolton B. Wade her Father Kirkland A.Wade, a loving Grandmother, Ms. Doris B. Ballen and her Paternal Grandmother Judy Wade; Brothers: Kirkland B. Wade ( Lauren) SPC Kollin B. Wade and sister Kayla Wade; her fur baby, Katherine Elizabeth; Uncles: Dwayne (Martina), Rodreckeus (Mildred), Michael (Lequandra), Ted (Michelle), and Javon; Aunts: Iris (Albert) Kim and Kelly; Nephew: Asher and Niece: Emery. 
Grandfathers Michael B. Ballen and Lewis Wade, Jr preceded her in death. 
She leaves to cherish her memory: Godparents Valarie Bessant and Drew Drayton, God sisters: Kaprece, Brittany, Kenadi, and Juvanté; Four Forever Friends: Ashley Livingston and Quinñe Shubrick, Kayla Myers-Grant, and Berkeley Glover- Zajac; Special Aunties: Janet Patten, Sasia Manigo, Monique Jones and Acquanetta Kea, Brenda Chestnut, and a huge village of family and friends who loved her dearly.

The Funeral will be held Friday 12/30/2022 at Friendship MBC 1PM

Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
