Levon Gore

Levon Gore, 67 was born in Georgetown, South Carolina on January 25, 1956 to Leroy Moses Frazier Sr(deceased) and Annie Lee Gethers Frazier (deceased). She attended Winyah High School in Georgetown, SC where she received her high school diploma and Midlands Technical College in Columbia South Carolina where she received her Associate’s degree in Office Administration. She was married to Willie Glenn Gore of Conway, South Carolina where they both resided.

Levon was employed until her retirement with Horry County at the J. Ruben Long Detention Center, most recently the Juvenile Justice Division as an administrative assistant. She was also employed in other capacities in the Horry County government, Richland County Government in Columbia South Carolina and AVX Corporation in Myrtle Beach.

Levon  leaves behind, her beloved husband Willie Glenn Gore, two brothers; Leroy Moses Frazier, Jr. (Rainey), Marcus Abel Frazier (Emma), a sister Holly Frazier, seven other sisters-in-law; Betty Frazier(Lucius deceased), Lucille Vereen(CT), Carrie Nesmith(PA), Mae Ellison(VA) Betty Frazier(FL), Bessie Mack (NJ), Agatha Gagum and two aunts; Celya Cohen(IL) and Cora Duncan (AZ), a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ, Conway, SC  Saturday August 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Viewing for the public will be held at the Latimer Funeral Home, Conway, SC Friday August 11, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. With family viewing immediately before.
