Nadine Williams Obituary

Nadine Williams of Little River, South Carolina, was born on November 8, 1936 to the late Willie Williams and Maude Pace (Roosevelt Pace). On Wednesday, April 15, 2020 our Queen was called home to her Lord and Savior. She departed this life peacefully at home in New Jersey surrounded by her loving family. Nadine spent the majority of her life in Passaic, New Jersey and her retirement years were spent in Little River with her devoted husband of 50 years, Joe Williams. She was educated in the Tuskegee School System. Prior to her Little River relocation, Nadine was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 30 years at Daughters of Miriam Center, The Gallen Institute in Clifton, New Jersey and was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church in Passaic, New Jersey. She served on the church’s Usher Board No. 2 for many years of her membership. Once in Little River, Nadine became a member of the Full Gospel Baptist Church. Nadine was a true believer in God and loved the Lord! She loved laughter and was quite humorous in her own right. Her wisdom was unsurpassed. She always told it like it was no matter the situation. She loved to cook for her family especially during the holidays. Nadine’s specialties were potato salad (never without sweet pickle relish), sweet potato pie, and pound cakes from scratch. She always knew how to bring her family together to create special memories. She loved to read magazines and listen to gospel music; her favorite artist as Shirley Caesar. Nadine loved getting her hair done and enjoyed attending family events.
