Mr. Cox was The Husband of Mrs. Julie Cox of Longs,SC.
On May 9, 2025, Otis transitioned from his earthly home to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by loved ones.
Born on August 22, 1957 to the union of the late Thomas Jefferson Cox and “Ella” Missouri Gause Cox.
Otis attended Horry County Schools and graduated from North Myrtle Brach High School (1975). He joined the US Army, where he served for 21 years.
Otis was married to Julie Ann Cox. They have 4 children and he was a father figure and role model to many. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, nephew, brother in law, cousin and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, Otis was predeceased by his siblings; Thomas Jefferson Cox Jr, Ana Rita Cox, Ronnie Gertha Cox, and Ella Josephine Greene.

Viewing will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2-6PM.
The Funeral will be held Friday, May 16,2025 at Chesterfield MBC 1PM. Burial will follow in Chetsefield Cemetery with Military Honors at 3PM.
