Randolph Vereen, Jr. son of Randolph Vereen, Sr. and Carolyn Vereen was born June 14, 1963 in Wiesbaden. Germany. He graduated from NMB High School in 1981 and Graduated from Clemson University in 1985. He graduated from NMB High School in 1981 and graduated from Clemson Univ. in 1985. He loved to attend church service at Mt. Zion AME Church when he would come home to visit. Sometimes he would call in on the church conference calls.
He loved to see the sunrise come up down at the beach. He said, "That is God in action" He would say, "There is got to be a God, If anyone didn't believe in God, all they have to do is watch the sunrise come out over the ocean.
When he was in the hospital for 8 weeks, and we would call him, he would sometimes say, "I'm talking to my God."
He was married to Michelle Brodie from Augusta, Ga. In this union they were blessed with 3 children, Randolph Vereen(Trey) of Savannah, Ga, Darian J. Vereen (DJ) and Anna E. Vereen of Marietta, GA.
He loved playing football in High school and in college. In his latter years , he enjoyed playing chess, fishing, and playing pool.
He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
He loved to be in crowds and when he was , you would know it! He was a very fun loving person. He leaves to cherish his memory; 3 Sisters, Darnerker M. Bellamy (Alvin) of Little River, SC, and Briggette H. Vereen of Marietta, GA.
He will be missed by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and 2 Childhood Close knot cousins, Jeffery Bryant and Wayne Livingston.
A special heartfelt thanks to Pamela Vereen, KD Dunn, Alden Gold, Michael Fortune, and Foster Caroll, Jr for assisting Randy J. during his time of recovery.
Public viewing will be held at Latimer's Funeral Home on Friday March 19, 2021 2-6PM. The Funeral will be held Saturday March 20, 2021 11AM at Mt Zion AME Cemetery.
