Rev. Robyn Monique Adderton-Maxwell

Reverend Robyn Adderton-Maxwell, the daughter of the late Jesse Adderton, Jr. and Alice Adderton Graham was born on October 14, 1959 in Warm Springs Virginia. She transitioned to her eternal home on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Robyn attended North Myrtle Beach High School and then later received her diploma.  Her passion was helping others in need.  Robyn accepted Christ as her Lord and Savoir at an early age then answered her calling to be a minister.  Her initial sermon was at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Conway, SC. She was employed with Shoney’s Restaurant and Quincey’s as a service manager.  Robyn was married to James Maxwell, Jr.  Her hobbies were cooking, gardening and listening to music. She also loved to sing and was a Minister of Music in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and Lanes, SC at the churches she attended.

Robyn is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Adderton, Jr. and step-son Michael Maxwell.

Robyn leaves cherish memories to her husband, James Maxwell Jr., her mother, Alice Adderton-Graham; her children, Chanin (Shavez) Mincey, Christy (Whitney) Skillon, Jennifer (Damian) Miller and Tiffany Bessent; her step-children, James Maxwell III, Sonia Purvis (Eric), Gary Maxwell (Suzette), Sharon Myers (Sean), Chaini Goodwin (Sherman), Bryan Maxwell and Tamara Maxwell;  her grandchildren, Tracie Adderton, Shavez Mincey Jr, Anthony Collins Jr., Kieona Mincey, Alexis Adderton, Shondarius Mincey, Xavier Bessent, Jurnee Miller, Quest Miller and Jordan Miller; her great-grandchildren, Ai’yanna Brewton, Jayce Mincey, Ximara Brewton, Rylynn Cox, Rylin Mincey, Knyslee Mincey and Kohen Mincey; her siblings, Lynn (Alfred) Parker, Jesse C. (Angela) Adderton, Douglas Adderton, Alison Chestnut, Holly Adderton, Jeffrey C. Adderton and Tracy Dewitt;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Viewing will be held Sunday. Nov. 13,2022 2-6PM at Latimer's Funeral Home

The Funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 12PM at Chesterfield MBC

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary # 2 Cemetery.
