Robert "Bobby" Crawford was born on November 11, 1952 in Horry County, South Carolina to Willa Graham Crawford and the late Willie Harrison Crawford, Robert departed his life on Saturday January 21, 2023 at the age of 70 years old. Robert grew up in Newark, NJ and attended school at Bergen Street Elementary,,Clinton Place Junior High and Irvington Tech High School. Robert also know as ' Bobby ' moved to Baltimore, Maryland for some of his adulthood then moved to South Carolina, Robert joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bayboro, S.C.and under the leadership of Rev.AC Faulk, he was baptized. Robert loved working on cars and putting model cars together. Bobby suffered a stroke about 30 years ago and was taken exceptionally good care of by his mother and help from his brothers and sisters until his passing. Bobby leaves to cherish his loving memories mother Mrs. Willa Graham Crawford of Bayboro, S.C., two sons, Robert Goodson and Alexander Goodson if Newark, N.J., two Grandsons and three Great Grandsons, one brother Willie Crawford Jr. (Bessie Crawford) of Bayboro S.C. two sisters Lorine Jones (Rev. Charles Henry Jones) of Bayboro S.C. and Jacqueline Pennington of Loris, S.C., three aunts Lena Harper of Bayboro S.C., Lorraine Lassiter of Bayboro S.C., Rosa Lee Dozier of Myrtle Beach, S.C., two uncles Levi Crawford ( Nina) of Parsippany, N.J., W.J. Crawford of Columbia S.C., one great uncle James Oscar Crawford of Newark, N.J., A host of cousins.friends and relatives.. Bobby you will be missed.
The Funeral will be held Thursday Jan. 26, 2023 2Pm at Silver Star Cemetery Graveside Service.
