Roosevelt "Liver" Darby

Mr. Roosevelt Darby (AKA Liver), son of the late John Darby Sr. & Elizabeth (Lizzie) Darby was born on May 31, 1948 in Lake City South Carolina. Roosevelt was educated in the public schools of Lake city, SC. Roosevelt spent many years in New York City where he worked at International Pallet. In the early 2000s Roosevelt moved back to S.C. where he resided at his niece Gail. While living there he began a career at Perdue until his health declined. Becoming disabled Roosevelt moved to Conway, SC with his brother Caleb Darby, who took care of him for fifteen years until he departed from this life.Roosevelt departed from this life February 7,2022. To cherish his loving memory is his wife: Cynthia ThomasDarby of SC, Twin brother Caleb Darby of Conway,SC; Joshua Darby of New York, his long time friends :King, Willie James Fulmore, Malachi Graham, and Johnny Fulmore and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents Roosevelt was preceded n death by six brothers , Nathaniel Darby, Willie Darby,John Darby Jr., Herbert Darby,Joshua Darby, Joe Louis Darby, 4 sisters, Verdell Darby, Frances Darby, Louise Darby, and Julie Ann Darby. 

The Memorial will be held 11Am Friday Feb. 18, 2022 at Latimer's Funeral Home.
