Sheila Ann Bynum

 Sheila Ann Bynum was born on May 17th, 1953 to the late Rufus Bellamy Sr. and Eloise Evans Bellamy. She entered in to eternal rest on November 7th, 2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by family. Sheila was born in Newark, NJ and graduated from South Side High School. She also attended Rutgers University.

Sheila was united in holy matrimony to Jesse Bynum Sr. on August 20, 1981. From this union Sheila gave birth to Gerard Bynum (deceased) and Jesse Bynum Jr. Sheila and her family relocated to California for many years prior to retiring from the Department of Defense in 2010 and settling in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Sheila was very talented. She enjoyed, knitting, sewing, shopping, spending time with family and most of all spoiling her granddaughter Jaylin.

Sheila has joined Rufus Bellamy Sr. (father), Eloise Evans Bellamy (mother), Genise Evans (brother), Rufus Howard Bellamy Jr. (Brother), Hattie Annette Anthony (sister), and Gerard Bynum (son). She leaves to mourn her husband Jesse Bynum Sr., son Jesse Bynum Jr. (Amalia), Jaylin (granddaughter), Barbara Bellamy (sister), Stacey Bellamy-Battles (niece), Mildred Bynum (mother-in-law), Shyree Smith (Step-daughter), Linda Caldwell (cousin), Denise Goldsby (cousin), Jimmy and Betty Adams (friends) and a host of family and friends from California and other states.

The Viewing will be held Saturday Nov. 16, 2024 at Latimer's Funeral Home 2-6Pm

The Funeral will be held Sunday Nov. 17, 2024 at Latimer's Funeral Home 1PM.
