Sherri Johnson

Sherri Reneé Johnson, born on May 6, 1964, in South Carolina, was a devoted mother and beloved teacher who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 61. She was known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to her family, especially her children.

Sherri's early life was marked by academic excellence. She grew up in Horry County and graduated with honors from Green Sea Floyds High School in 1982. She furthered her education by earning degrees in English Studies from USC Coastal Carolina College.

Her professional career spanned 16 years at Green Sea Head Start, where she inspired young minds and emphasized the importance of education. Sherri's legacy is carried on by her four children, granddaughter, siblings, and many cherished friends. Sherri Reneé Johnson was truly one of a kind, and her legacy of love and faith will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
