Sylvia B. Coachman, entered this world on January 14, 1945. On Sunday, September 18, 2022, God Called His beloved daughter from labor to reward.
Sylvia B. Coachman was born to the late Deacon James A. Burroughs and Helen P. Burroughs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Joseph V. Polite, Emeritt Polite, Geraldine Carlise, Nell Burroughs, Lloyd I. Burroughs, Eugene A. Burroughs, James Burroughs, and Albert Burroughs.
Sylvia was a graduate of Whittemore High School, class of 1962. After High School she relocated to Daytona Beach Florida, where she met the love of her life, Henry L. Coachman. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Helena S. Coachman, and Sherena H. Coachman.
It was at a very early age she accepted her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joined the St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully with the Ushers Ministry.
She was a member of the Aynor Star Chapter #173.
Sylvia B. Coachman was always helping in the community and doing for others. She provided transpotation for various appointments, community events, and delivering food to the elderly. She was employed with the Horry County Council On Aging.
Those left to cherish fond memories of her life; her devoted and loving husband of 54 years, Henry L. Coachman, her daughters, Helena S. Coachman, and Sherena H. Coachman. One sister, Mamie P. Scott, two brothers, John W (Marlene) Burroughs, and Brian M (Rene) Burroughs. Five Sisters in law: Ophelia Burroughs, Akiko Polite, Mary Joyce Demmings, Annie Reeves, and Edna Rush, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, relatives and friends.
One of Sylvia’s motto: Whatever you give or whatever you do, do it from the Heart!
