On Wednesday, April 06, 2022 a loving son, brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend transitioned from his earthly body.
Jerwaine (Ty) as he was affectionately known was born to Elder Benjamin and Idell Samuel on November 14, 1977 in Georgetown, SC.
Jerwaine (Ty) was educated in the public schools of Horry County. He was employed as Head installer with Eagle Hospitality. At an early age Jerwaine developed a love for music that led to him playing the drums and bass guitar.
Jerwaine (Ty) was preceded in death by Christine and Nero Dickerson, Norman Snow (Paternal Grandparents); Aubrey and Teretha Melvin, Ida Lou Floyd and Willie Lofton, Jr (Maternal Grandparents); Eliajah Samuel (nephew); Robert Melvin (Uncle), Willie Henry Floyd (Uncle), Timothy Dickerson (Uncle), and Quindella Durant (Aunt).
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents:Elder Benjamin and Elder Idell Samuel, his sons: Amontre’ Ellerbe and Kevin Jackson, His brothers: Dorian (Sheryta) Samuel, James Samuel (Stacy Hill), Merrell Samuel (Michanda Williams), Cory Samuel (Tanya Hawthorne) His sisters: Tamika Samuel (Ernest Hemingway) and Liz Cunningham (Michael Lance). His Aunts: Linda (Larry) Strickland, Priscilla Dickerson, Sophie (John) McCullough, Norma Jean (Joe) Cooper, Margarie Snow, Charlotte (Lewis) Smith, and Viola Melvin. His Uncles: Jasper Floyd, Don (Lorine) Lofton, Rodney (Mandee) Lofton, Herbert (Ruby) Melvin, Charlie Dickerson, and Raymond Burroughs.
A special companion Monekeeie Days. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Viewing will be held at Latimer's Funeral Home Sunday April 10, 2022 2-6PM. The Funeral will be held at Hilcrest Cemetery 1000 Hwy 544 Conway, SC 29527. Monday April 11, 2022 at 2PM. Full obit to follow.
