Mr. Ulysses Wilson, the son of the late Donnie and Villa Chestnut Wilson was born May 22, 1955. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Ulysses attended Horry County School. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Mt. Zion African Methodist Church.
Ulysses was a hard worker and he believed in providing for his family. He was employed at Dunes Golf and Beach Club for twenty eight years.
Ulysses or “Chicken” as he was called by his friends, was always kind and fun-loving he always greeted you with a smile. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ulysses enjoyed fishing, farming, and spending time with family and friends.
Ulysses loved his children he especially enjoyed teaching his grandson about outdoor living.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Jennie Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his sweet memories: two daughters, Melissa Wilson of the home, and Tierra Wilson of Little River, SC; one grandson, Jaden Wilson of the home; two sisters; Carolyn (Marcus) Livingston of Longs S.C. and Dorothy Hemingway of Loris S.C.; three brothers Donnie Wilson, Jr. Ben Wilson of Longs, SC., and Howard Wilson of Loris, SC, one aunt Ozie Bell Randall of Little River, S.C.; Special cousins; Brenda, Troy, Stacy Jr., Denver, Dashawn, Dexter and DeAndre Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and special friends.
