Willie L. Brown, son of the late Sarah M. Brown and Herbert Peterson, was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on May 18, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ella Mae Brown Smalls and Theresa Brown Dantzler. He was called from labor to join those that wait on Saturday December 28, 2019.

Willie was born and raised in Myrtle Beach in “tin top alley”. He was known by many in the area for bright personality. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Jackie Robinson in June of 1975.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and loving wife of 44 years, Jackie Brown, two daughters, Wanda Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kizzie Brown of Conway, SC; five sons, Chris (Shonte) Brown, Kendrick (Jereé) Brown, Josh Brown, Albert Brown and Ervin Brown all of Myrtle Beach, SC; four sisters, Victoria Brown of Little River, SC, Sarah (Thelton) Chestnut of Conway, SC, Patricia Walker of Conway, SC, and Vanessa (Tyrone) Fair of Winston Salem, NC; two brothers, Johnny Brown and James “Boss” Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister-in-law Ruthie Bellamy; three brothers-in-law Albert Robinson and Robinson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Ralph Smalls of Murrells Inlet, SC; fifteen grandchildren and one great grand, one god-daughter Brenda Mitchell of Andrews, SC; a special cousin, George “Scottie” Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC, special friends, Frank Burgess, Clyde Bellamy, Russel Riggins, and Wayne Feaster and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends

The family will be meeint at the home of his daughter Wanda Brown at 935 Canal St in Myrtle Beach.
